The University Libraries’ Special Collections and University Archives Department has been collecting oral histories of our African American students from the 1960s. Several of these people will be returning to campus for Reunion this year to participate in a special facilitated session with current students, including members of the Neo-Black Society, to compare the campus "then and now." We are very honored to be able to bring this session for a second year. The first was held last year and was extremely successful with many alumni coming back for the first time in 50 years. One attendee said of last year’s event, “What a privilege it was to see the lives represented by the stories you have collected through this oral history project.
