UNCG Librarians Featured in Book on Academic Data Librarianship

UNC Greensboro librarians Lynda Kellam (Data Services and Government Information) and Karen Grigg (Science Liaison librarian) are featured in Databrarianship: The Academic Librarian in Theory and Practice (2016).  Published by the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) Kellam served as co-editor for the book, and Grigg published a chapter, “Data in the Sciences."

Databrarianship examines how librarians can utilize different methodologies and theories to better curate and organize academic research data. The new release draws “on the expertise of a diverse community of practitioners, this collection of case studies, original research, survey chapters, and theoretical explorations presents a wide-ranging look at the field of academic data librarianship.” Additional information on Databrarianship.
