Tickets are on sale for the Friends of the UNCG Libraries Annual Dinner, and they’re going fast. The event for UNCG’s Libraries will be March 29 at 6 p.m. in the Elliot University Center’s Cone Ballroom. The guest speaker will be Ray Suarez. He is the author of three critically-acclaimed books including, Latino Americans: The 500-Year Legacy that Shaped a Nation , The Holy Vote: The Politics of Faith in America and The Old Neighborhood: What We Lost in the Great Suburban Migration . Tickets, which include dinner, are $60 for members and $70 for nonmembers. Table sponsorships are available for $650 and include 8 tickets, special pre-reception, preferential seating and recognition at the event.
