What is The Carolina Peacemaker and who is the audience?  Where can I get a copy?   For my career interest in journalism, how could I work for The Carolina Peacemaker in the future?   These are just a few of the questions that will be answered on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 12:00 noon in the Hodges Reading Room of the University Libraries.  Ms. Afrique Kilimanjaro, Editor of The Carolina Peacemaker will be the featured speaker for this program.  Since 1967, The Carolina Peacemaker has served as North Carolina’s leading news weekly with a national reputation. The Peacemaker has garnered awards from the National Newspaper Publishers Association and the North Carolina Press Association for outstanding news coverage, commentaries, editorial cartoons, sports and entertainment features, photography and effective public service campaigns.
